Why I Founded
Faith Beyond the Walls
Faith Beyond the Walls was inspired by Taurean Jermaine Clark Sr., the father of my children.
One day, Taurean and I had an honest conversation about why he had returned to prison so many times. He shared that whenever he was released, he did not have a safe and stable place to go, nor did he know anyone who could help him rebuild his life. Without proper support, guidance, or a genuine second chance, he returned to the streets and eventually found himself incarcerated again. This cycle continued time after time.
That conversation stayed with me. It helped me understand that many people leaving jail or prison do not fail because they are incapable of changing. Sometimes, they simply do not have the support, resources, housing, or opportunities needed to begin again.
Taurean passed away during his incarceration in jail in May 2024. To this day, I still do not have all the answers about what happened to him. His passing left a tremendous void in the lives of our children and me, but it also gave me a greater sense of purpose. Through Faith Beyond the Walls, I will honor his life, share his story, and be a voice for those who feel forgotten or unheard.
I founded Faith Beyond the Walls to support women returning home from jail or prison who may believe that no one cares, no help is available, or no one will give them another chance. I want these women to know that their past does not have to determine their future. They deserve a safe place to begin again, access to meaningful resources, and people who genuinely believe in their ability to succeed.
My goal is to help break the cycle of incarceration by providing transitional housing, employment assistance, education, counseling, life-skills development, faith-based mentorship, and continued support. I want women to receive the tools and encouragement they need to rebuild their lives so they will not have to return to jail, prison, or the circumstances that once held them back.

Faith Beyond the Walls, LLC offers a 12-month transitional program designed to help women successfully reintegrate into their communities and build stable, independent, and purposeful lives.
Our 12-Month Transitional Program Includes
Transitional Housing
Providing safe and supportive housing while participants work toward long-term stability and financial independence.
Employment Support
Helping with resumes, job searching, interview skills, workplace readiness, and maintaining employment.
Education & Career Development
Connecting women with GED programs, colleges, trade schools, certifications, and career opportunities.
Financial Literacy
Teaching budgeting, saving, banking, credit management, and responsible money management.
Counseling & Wellness
Connecting participants with counseling, behavioral health, recovery resources, and other supportive services.
Life Skills Development
Equipping women with essential life skills for daily living, healthy relationships, time management, and personal growth.
Identification & Documentation
Assisting with identification, documentation, birth certificates, and other important records.
Faith-Based Mentorship
Providing mentorship, encouragement, accountability, spiritual development, and positive community relationships.
Our program is built on faith, compassion, accountability, and empowerment. We walk alongside each participant as she rebuilds her life and steps into her purpose.
